Increasing my reading list I am adding two books which I completed reading recently and its worth updating here in my blog. Its not any book review, its just my point of view regarding the books.
First one is "Truly,Madly,Deeply*" by Faraz Kazi.
Wow! Some books take you for a surprise as this one did. Its Story of two school students Rahul & Seema. One of the most heart-touching and beautiful works I ever comes across. The story stays with you once you have finished it. It surely pulls the strings of my heart and makes me want to live the story. I will surely be fond of this sweet love story by Kazi.Author Faraaz Kazi has captured the word and emotion 'Love' in it's absolute raw form. Only a person who longs for someone to call their own can understand the obsession of being in love along with the magnitude & power of attraction a 'first love' carries. The story comes straight from the heart and touches a nerve that's somehow always open to the slightest touch of remembrance."Love is such a well explained emotion, yet we fail to define it when asked to!"
Lines that I specifically liked in Truly,Madly,Deeply:
"Love never comes with a brochure of rules and regulations,a prospectus with guides of what is acceptable and what is abominable."
"I loved someone more than myself. I loved someone truly, madly, deeply."
Ending it on satisfactory note I would say: "A book will always be seen by everyone in their own way. So don't judge, just enjoy!"
The second one is "The Best of Me*" by Nicholas Sparks.
I have no shame in admitting that I am a huge Nicholas Sparks fan. I just love him, and there is nothing wrong with that! His books makes me happy, sometimes makes me sad but mostly his books just warm my heart. The Best of Me in true Nicholas Sparks form, is no exception in the tear-jerker department. Although, at times he can be a bit predictable (don’t act like someone doesn’t always die) this book definitely has a bit of suspense and keeps you on the edge of your seat. It's about two former high school sweethearts who had never really gotten over each other. After 20 years or so, fate intervened and they were forced to meet again at their old friend's funeral. From there, they had to make a decision. To continue living the life they lead or to rewrite the past and renew their love?
It's not as easy as it seems, you know. Sparks wrote it, of course there were complications. I dont want to prove myself a spoiler so if you wanna know how the story ended, you have to read it.
It was heartbreaking just like most of the author's novels but it will make you realize what true love really is. I couldn't stop crying after I read the last sentence. They call Nicholas Sparks "Master of Pain". And rightfully so.
The lines that i liked
“I gave you the best of me, he'd told her once, and with every beat of her son's heart, she knew he'd exactly done that.”
“I want to wake up with you beside me in the mornings. I want to spend my evenings looking at you across the dinner table. I want to share every mundane detail of my day with you and hear every detail of yours. I want to laugh with you and fall asleep with you in my arms.”
Obviously, I love sparks book so I recommend you read this but let’s be honest, not everyone is a sap like me and Nicholas just isn’t for everyone.
