A day Back in Childhood

Time flies, but the memories collected along the way can never be replaced. We all have grown up (perhaps we have ;) :), got busy in our daily schedules, used to remain in our cocoons and the cobwebs we ourselves have built around to give us the feeling that "oh my God, how busy am I "
But for me it doesn't take long to stop by for a second, take a halt and appreciate the life around, the phase I crossed by, the times we all have had in our lives but now become seemingly precarious to overlook them. Just try introspecting some small things around us and small things we did ONCE.

Here are somethings I have observed. I do it many a times, and I'm sure you must have, too, but it just doesn't strike you to acknowledge:-

(1) When the dog shakes his head to remove excess water on it and his skin hair get like that 7up guy..

(2) When all the ants-folk crawl in one direction, following one path and when you just rub your finger across their path, the ones yet to cross that side, get confused :D and get zigzag and talli :D

(3) How come photo of a person (who was looking at the camera while being clicked), always follows your sight, whichever side you go?? ( I know there is scientific explanation behind it)

(4) Whenever you are about to feed your dog, the dog wags his tail so much and gets so excited that it tries to jump on his dish which is still in your hands...and out of fear you are about to throw the dish away (but you don't :) )(though I never had a dog, I use to play sometime with jhunu, my sister's dog)

(5) Those white-black ant like structures that used to come on TV, long time back whenever Doordarshan or cable connection went off.

(6) Renuka Shahane and Sidharth Kak used to host Surabhi..in whose numbering video, an animated dancing girl used to get converted into Jantar Mantar (I used to look at that with so much awe)

(7) Counting all the street lights on your way to school from home, sitting in the auto rickshaw/bus/car whatever.

(8) Counting those vertical short road markings dividing the road just to check how smart are you in comparison to the speed of the vehicle.

(9) The postman, the salesman, charity seekers, unwanted beggars on your door aroused maximum curiosity even when you mom told you not to open the door.

(10) Sometimes singing one song in the middle, makes you sing another song because some tune in the middle of one song reminds you of another one.
I now sound like crazy but I do all this thinking whenever I have time for myself.
